Before proceding to design or alter systems, ensure that you go to the Inventory page and add items, particularly inverters and modules that have been used in existing systems designs.
Go to Admin > Inventory
- Select the brand of the component from the first drop down list
- Select the module or inverter model from the dropdown lists. The component will appear in the inventory table. This table can be edited directly.
- Click in the 'Wholesale/Buy Price' column next to the component. Add the price (no $)
- Click in the Mark-up column and add the markup percentage (A dollar mark-up can be applied by unchecking the next box)
- For other inventory items, add them using the blank row at the bottom of this table. Make sure you select a 'Category' from the list on the right hand side. This determines where the component will be able to be selected in the system design stage. (eg. isolator, fuse, mounting)
